Symbol of the Ek Onkaar, i.e. the Mool Mantra of the Holy book – Guru Granth Sahib. The first two words in the Guru Granth Sahib & one of the cornerstones of Sikhism.

This is the prayer of the Sikhs by their Holy Book, the Guru Granth Sahib:

(Ek onkar) – God is one.

(Satnam) – His name is true.

(Karta Purakh) – He is maker of the whole world.

(Nirbhau) – He is Fearless.

(Nirvair) – He never hates anyone.

(Akaal Murat) – He is beyond the time. He is immortal.

(Ajooni) – He is neither born nor dies.

(Saibhang) – Neither anyone has created him nor anyone gave him birth. He is self created.

(Gurparsad) – Only True Guru can help us to meet Him!

These divine lines tries to explain Man how God is and I came across the following lines in Hindi which beautifully explains what role fate plays in our life.

โ€‹Apne gam ki Numaish na kar,
Apne nasib ki Azmaish na kar,
Jo tera hai tere Pas khud ayega,
Har roz usse pane Ki khwaish na kar,
Taqdir badal jayegi apne aap hi ae dost,
Muskrana sikh le,
Wajah ki talaash na kar…
โ€‹Muskrana sikh le,
wajah ki talaash na kar…

Meaning:
Don’t crib about your sorrow
Don’t feel miserable for your ill luck
If something is meant for you, it will come to you on its own
Don’t suffer wanting it everyday, have patience
Your luck will change on its own, effortlessly, my friend
Learn to laugh, don’t look for excuse to smile!

Incidentally found the meaning posted here on the internet just few hours before me.
